Structural Glazing

Within the portfolio of specialized products to perform a System of Structural Glazing Sealing Wrapping, we have:

• ST-200 Tape (structural tape): High density polyurethane foam with pressure sensitive adhesive on two sides, high strength and durability, making it the best choice for curtain wall systems in shop or field.
• SOF Rod backing: Cylindrical polyolefin foam cord to provide the correct sealant design and dimensions, as well as to prevent adhesion of the sealant to a third surface.
• Silicone Shims: 100% silicone insulating material to prevent glass contact with the lower horizontal aluminum profile.
• Ultraglaze*SSG4000/ Ultraglaze*SSG4000AC: High tensile strength, neutral curing, single component sealant specifically designed and tested for structural glazing applications.
• Silpruf*SCS2000: ideal for high movement weather sealing and structural wrap applications.
• Pens Construction II: Low modulus, neutral silicone sealant designed as a weathering sealant for structural glazing. Compatible with the vast majority of specialty glass.
• Pens architectural 100% silicone: Highly resistant, acetic curing, 100% silicone sealant with excellent physical properties. Ideal for weather sealing clear non-specialty glass.
• Ultraspan: Extruded silicone tape, excellent for making seals or splices over failed or defective seals. Silpruf*SCS2000 should be adhered to ensure sealing.
